• Monday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Position Details

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in promoting oral health and educating patients on the connection between oral health and overall wellness. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer service-focused, and committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services
• Conducting patient assessments and reviewing medical histories
• Educating patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
• Identifying and documenting conditions that require further evaluation
• Collaborating closely with doctors and team members to support comprehensive patient care
• Building strong patient relationships through excellent communication and compassionate care
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Supporting a positive, efficient, and team-oriented office environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Tennessee or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dependable, professional, and patient-focused approach to care
• Customer service mindset with the ability to create exceptional patient experiences
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care and patient education
• Experience with periodontal therapy and patient education preferred

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
