General Manager OpportunityGeneral managers are the leader of the restaurant management team. General managers provide direction, training and the expertise required to ensure the customer's expectations are exceeded and each shift they oversee achieves its business goals. Under the direction of a district manager, the general manager is responsible for the restaurant's daily operations, including, but not limited to:Maintain day-to-day financial controlsCreate and manage staff schedulesInterview, hire, train and orientate teamOversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relationsExercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility managementEnsure health and safety inspections and standards are metCareer growth - Wanna move up? Use restaurant equipment such as a headset, register, or grill. Must have or be willing to obtain SERV safe certification by the end of training. Secure reliable transportation to travel to your home store and other locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) occasionally for training and other tasks.
