We Are Hiring Location: Nashville, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas West Department: Respiratory Schedule: Full-time | Night Shift What You Will Do Assess patient needs to develop and implement precise respiratory care plans based on specific diagnoses. Expertly manage and monitor high-level respiratory equipment and treatments, adjusting protocols based on patient outcomes. Act as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life‑saving intervention during critical codes. Vigilantly monitor and document patient conditions, ensuring the medical team is informed of real‑time changes. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
