Senior SAP FICA Archiving Consultant

Our client is standing up a SAP FICA Data Archiving initiative in parallel with its move from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. We are sourcing a senior consultant to architect and orchestrate the FICA archiving workstream end to end, from data model mapping through cutover and operational handoff. What You Will Do Lead the FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable) Data Archiving strategy and execution across the ECC → S/4HANA transition. Design and orchestrate the archiving flow for FICA objects and related data models: sequencing, dependencies, retention, and residence/runtime considerations. Map FICA and integrated FI/CO data models; define what gets archived, retained, and migrated as ECC retires. Partner with functional and Basis/technical teams on archiving objects (ADK), write/delete jobs, and data lifecycle controls. Validate archived-data accessibility, audit/compliance posture, and reconciliation through cutover. Document the orchestration runbook and hand off operational ownership. Must-Haves FICA depth: hands-on SAP FICA (Contract Accounts / FI-CA) experience, including its data model and Archiving objects. SAP Data Archiving: ADK, archiving objects, write/delete/store, and retention design in FICA and integrated FI/CO areas. ECC → S/4HANA migration: direct experience, ideally with archiving as part of the data strategy. FICO + integrated areas: strong SAP FICO knowledge and the FICA-GL integration points. Architect and orchestrate: able to sequence the end-to-end flow, not just configure a single object. Senior and client-ready: operates independently, documents cleanly, and hands off. Nice-to-Haves ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) / SARA and data volume management. Regulated or high-volume transactional environments; BRIM / Convergent Invoicing adjacency.
