Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Home Care of Edison, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting individuals in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging their engagement and well-being.
3. Follow clients’ plan of care, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
4. Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
5. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients, following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
2. Previous experience in a caregiving role or home health environment.
3. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
4. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
5. Reliable and punctual, with a flexible schedule to meet client needs.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is either Part-Time or Full-Time, with availability across all days of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Middlsex, Somerset and Union Counties, New Jersey.
