COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our collaborative and progressive team at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 513-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Syracuse, New York. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover and regain their independence. Responsibilities:
- Follow treatment plans to help restore day-to-day functionality and independence to our patients
- Provide personable solutions to accommodate our clients' unique needs and preferences
- Assist with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Requirements:
- Current New York State Occupational Therapist Assistant licensure (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- Responsible, caring, and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistants who enjoy helping patients and making a great impact in their personal development
- Effective and engaging verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to comfortably interact with people of diverse backgrounds
