Senior Counsel, Commercial

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support a fast-paced commercial legal function focused on strategic partnerships, revenue-generating agreements, and healthcare contracting. You will partner closely with Commercial leadership and business development teams to help structure agreements that support growth while navigating complex regulatory considerations. The position calls for a collaborative, externally facing attorney who can operate with autonomy in a high-growth environment and provide practical guidance on value-based and fee-for-service arrangements. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $153,000 – $210,000 annually Responsibilities Support Commercial teams in strategic alliances and business development Proactively identify and solve problems within assignments Manage large-scale deliverables with minimal oversight Lead drafting and negotiating revenue-generating agreements with payor partners Assist in developing best practices for value-based and fee-for-service contracting Navigate regulatory considerations related to healthcare contracts Serve as a collaborative thought partner for the Commercial team Represent the organization in negotiations with health plan partners Qualifications JD degree required 7+ years of corporate legal experience Transactional healthcare background, preferably in-house or at a law firm Strong multitasking and prioritization skills Experience in an externally facing role Ability to thrive in a high-growth, ambiguous environment Exceptional management and communication skills Mission-driven to support underserved populations Benefits Health insurance Life insurance Retirement benefits Participation in the company's equity program Paid time off, including vacation and sick leave Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
