Digital Producer / Digital Project Manager

Role Description

Coalition Technologies is seeking a highly organized, client-focused, and technically knowledgeable Remote Digital Producer / Digital Project Manager to manage SEO, web design, web development, and online marketing accounts. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management, account management, client communication, digital marketing, and web production experience.

As a Digital Producer, you will act as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, helping ensure that digital projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client goals. You will manage:

• Client communication
• Project scopes
• Deliverables
• Timelines
• Strategy meetings
• Ongoing account needs

We are looking for talented and diligent candidates who perform well on our skills assessments. Strong skills test performance may be considered even if a candidate does not meet every preferred experience or educational background requirement.

Responsibilities

• Managing ongoing SEO, web design, web development, and digital marketing client accounts
• Assisting with and reviewing project scopes, including financial, resource, and technical requirements
• Creating and reviewing cost estimates while considering business impact, project risk, and client goals
• Attending regular client meetings, kickoff calls, and specialty calls with new and existing clients
• Organizing internal strategy meetings to discuss campaign direction and client objectives
• Acting as a creative and strategic liaison between clients and internal teams
• Responding promptly and reliably to client communications within expected response times
• Clarifying and communicating project objectives, requirements, timelines, and success criteria to the team
• Reviewing project deliverables before they are shared with clients
• Ensuring project deliverables are complete, accurate, current, and stored properly
• Keeping project management software, tasks, timelines, and client records up to date
• Maintaining awareness of industry trends, digital marketing opportunities, and web solutions that may benefit clients
• Recommending website design, SEO, PPC, and online marketing improvements to current clients
• Supporting account growth by identifying opportunities for additional services and strategy improvements
• Closing out projects and helping collect final payments when needed

Qualifications

• Enough knowledge to pass a skills test in either web development or online marketing, including SEO or PPC
• Strong project management, account management, or client management experience across multiple clients
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Experience presenting professional materials in on-camera client meetings
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, influencing, facilitation, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
• A confident speaking presence, strong command of your voice, and the ability to communicate with authority
• Solid understanding of project management methodology, including issue resolution, risk management, work planning, resource allocation, meeting management, and project specifications
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as Basecamp, Jira, Asana, HubSpot, or similar tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying highly organized and detail-oriented
• Solid understanding of web design standards, usability, rich media, and digital production workflows
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
• Passion for building and growing in a startup-style environment
• Reliable remote workstation, including a fast computer, microphone, speakers, reliable internet, and reliable power

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Proficiency in JavaScript and PHP
• Experience with photo and video editing software
• Experience with SEO, Google Ads, PPC, and online marketing strategy
• Experience upselling or recommending additional digital services to clients
• Experience working with designers, developers, SEO specialists, and digital marketing teams

Compensation

For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this position ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
