Position: Accountant Location: On Site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky Schedule: Full time position - Day Shift Responsibilities Assists the Director of Accounting in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to close procedures. Protects the confidentiality of accounting data/information that is used in daily operations. Maintains and reconciles various ledgers, general ledger accounts, bank statements, and hospital credit accounts. Prepares journal entries and supporting schedules needed for the monthly and annual close procedure. Maintains and reconciles various ledgers, general ledger accounts, bank statements, and hospital credit accounts. Responsible for the reconciliation of the main operating account including daily coordination with Data Processing. Assists in the preparation of annual budget as needed. Assists the Director of Accounting and accounting staff in researching expense variances. What We’re Looking For BS/BA degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.
