Front of House Manager - Uchi Denver

About the Role The Front of House Manager plays a key leadership role in the daily operations of the restaurant. This position helps lead the service team, supports the development of staff, and ensures every guest experience reflects Hai Hospitality’s standards of thoughtful, genuine hospitality. The manager works closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to maintain service excellence, support team growth, and uphold the culture of the restaurant. Responsibilities Lead the service team and oversee daily restaurant operations. Support staff development and ensure guest experience aligns with company standards. Collaborate with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to maintain service excellence. Respond quickly and efficiently to customer needs. Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance, including proper uniform and personal grooming. Understand and communicate directives effectively with leadership and coworkers. Identify safety issues and comply with safety guidelines and standards. Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and knives. Help reconfigure seating arrangements, lift, push, or pull tables and chairs as needed. Stock inventory, perform restocking duties, and maintain a neat and organized workspace. Tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors while working in a fast‑paced environment. Basic Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees. Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items. Physical ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold. Proficiency in working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Experience with kitchen equipment safety and efficient use. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a neat workspace. Willingness to work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area.
