Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Float Pool – New York

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Albany, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week; shift details provided during interview process

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
• Float pool position covering multiple critical care environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide
• Opportunity to maintain and expand critical care skills across diverse patient populations
• Support provided for ICU and progressive care patients in ED and PACU during bed placement transitions
• Travel nursing assignment with competitive benefits package

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York State (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated competency floating to multiple ICU settings
• Comfortable and competent caring for critical care patients across neuro, trauma, medical, cardiac, and surgical intensive care environments
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Non-local candidates only (restrictions apply to certain county residents)
