ASCP Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) / Med Tech

Job Summary: Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents, including medication administration and support. Engage effectively with residents, their families, staff, and visitors, fostering a respectful and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold and promote the philosophy of encouraging self-care and independence among residents.
• Respect and appreciate the heritage, values, and experiences of residents while understanding the aging process.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident records following established protocols.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure quality care.
• Communicate tactfully and diplomatically in sensitive or emotional situations.
• Stay composed during emergencies and maintain a calm atmosphere.
• Keep noise levels low to support a peaceful environment.
• Assist the Dietary department as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the relevant state.
• Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities for Assisted Living.
• At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Point Click Care E-Mar is advantageous.

• Comply with all regulatory standards and maintain certifications.
• Demonstrate punctuality and complete tasks within designated timelines.
• Exhibit courteous, respectful, and helpful communication with patients, guests, and staff.

Work Environment: This full-time position involves working 80 hours per pay period, primarily during evening shifts, within a healthcare facility located in a scenic Pacific Northwest regional setting.
