The Pest Control Service Technician inspects properties, identifies pest issues, applies treatments, and helps customers maintain safe, pest-free environments. This role combines field service, customer education, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pest inspections and identify pest species and activity.
- Assess properties to determine appropriate treatment approaches.
- Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively.
- Educate customers on pest prevention and treatment recommendations.
- Document services, findings, treatments, and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulations.
- Maintain pest control equipment and supplies.
- Manage service routes and complete follow-up visits as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in pest control services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management and pest identification.
- Familiarity with pesticide application and chemical safety.
- Understanding of EPA regulations and inspection techniques.
- Customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan routes and maintain accurate records.
