Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood is a fast-paced Surgical Hospital environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Shift: Days Schedule: 3x12s Job Summary: The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. The RN will also provide care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision. The RN must be able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. Must be able to determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. The RN must communicate with Emergency Department physician as about changes in patient's status, symptomology and results of diagnostic studies. The RN must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. We have an emergency treatment area and that, in periods of downtime, the ER nurse will be expected to aid the PSU #USP-RN #USP-123 #LI-CM1 Required Skills Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing At least three (2) years of experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or similar unit RN, current in the State of Texas BLS, ACLS, PALS USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
