Production Associate

The Production Associate fills drums and pails with materials and safely moves them throughout the facility to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Fill drums and pails accurately and safely according to production specifications and quality standards.
• Move filled and empty drums and pails throughout the building using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when required.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent spills, contamination, or damage to products and containers.
• Follow production schedules and instructions to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
• Comply with all safety procedures, including proper use of equipment and adherence to facility guidelines.
• Assist with general labor tasks in the production or warehouse area as needed.
• Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or production problems to the appropriate personnel.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience operating a forklift or willingness to work in a role that involves forklift use.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle drums and pails safely.
• Attention to detail when filling containers and handling materials.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and production guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in production, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
• Comfort working with material handling equipment such as forklifts.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a hands-on, physical role.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing facility with a hands-on, production-focused setting. You will work around drums, pails, and material handling equipment, including forklifts, and spend most of the day on your feet performing physical tasks. The environment is typical of a manufacturing operation, with active production areas and a focus on safety and organization.

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
