Responsibilities Provide supervision and support to clients in the integrated Vocational Program / Day Housing Program. Offer hands‑on support for clients in a caring, supportive, and clinically sound environment. Teach meaningful work and self‑management skills for everyday situations. Collaborate with a supportive team that includes the Associate Director, Senior Manager, and other DSPs. Perform general duties such as house cleaning, assistance with toileting/showering, job coaching, and role modeling. Education, Experience and Skills Needed Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals who have autism and developmental disabilities; 3+ years preferred. High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to speak, see and hear clearly and to write legibly for documentation. Basic computer skills. Professional and respectful communication skills with clients, families, and other parties. Ability to intervene with clients when needed to implement behavioral interventions, including physical restraint, lifting, and transporting in personal vehicle or company van. Physical capability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, reach, and move regularly. Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years and a registered, insured vehicle. First Aid/CPR Certification (training provided if needed). MAP Certification for medication administration (training provided if needed). Safety Care Certification (training provided if needed).
