Whether you are in Nashville or at one of our outlying locations, you are treated like family!Responsibilities:Perform DOT-compliant maintenance on all fleet vehicles and equipment.Complete preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair major systems, including engines, transmissions, DEF systems, and air conditioning systems.Utilize OEM diagnostic platforms to support accurate and efficient repairs.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Qualifications:Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical.High school diploma or GED required.Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.Strong communication skills.Basic computer proficiency.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, regularly lift up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.Western Express, Inc. is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee based on race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex, pregnancy, age, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local law.
