Hospital Security Guard - PT (Weekend Nights)

Overview Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24‑hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X‑ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. Position We are seeking a Hospital Security Guard to join our team! This is a part‑time role. Hours would be Friday and Saturday nights (8 pm to 8 am). This position is for weekend‑nights. Variable hours may be available. Responsibilities Monitor visitor entry and exit and ensure safety of hospital property and personnel. Know all site‑specific policies and procedures and implement emergency response activities as appropriate. Provide superior customer service. Requirements / Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable relevant experience. Effective written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently. Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat. Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds. Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
