Pharmacy Technician IV

We are currently looking for a Full Time Pharmacy Technician IV to join our Tribal Health Pharmacy Services team located at the Chickasaw Nation Refill Center working .

Summary:
This position is located within the Chickasaw Nation Department of Headquarters within the Department of Tribal and Commercial Health with the duty station at the Chickasaw Nation Pharmacy Refill Center. The purpose of this position is to provide clerical, administrative, and technical support to the Pharmacy Department. Pharmacy personnel must maintain high attention to detail as incorrect medication dispensing can cause injury/death.

Responsibilities:
* May assist in placing order from prime vendor and/or hard to find companies
* May input all CII orders from hard copy and fill them with double check from a pharmacist
* Reviews prescription orders, interprets the order, and operates the Pharmacy computer system
* Rotates throughout all work areas of the pharmacy and can manage work time independently and/or as part of a team
* Evaluate information for direct patient care, medication use review, and departmental management
* Fill and complete new prescription orders out of ScriptPro to give to pharmacist for final check
* Analyzes and maintains the electronic portion of pharmacy billing operations for third party programs
* Communicates with claims processing personnel and facility staff to identify problems with applications and operating systems
* All duties of Pharmacy Support Personnel - Outpatient Pharmacy Operations
* All duties of Pharmacy Support Personnel - Pharmacy Technician Level I-III
* Performs all other duties as assigned

* High School, GED or Equivalent

Credentials:

* Pass general background check
* Standard Driver's License
* National Certified Pharmacy Technician
* Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Technician Permit
* Completion of specialized competency test

Working Conditions:
