Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join our primary care practice in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site.

- 100% outpatient practice with flexible scheduling that can support a 4-day work week

- Nurse line is 1st call and call is 1:8 (phone call only)

Option A: Full Time Clinical Role

Option B: Full Time Clinical (80%) and Community Project Engagement (20%) Protected Time Dedicated to a Community Health Project Through a grant from the Orion Initiative, a grant program within the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, [provider] is able to offer 20% protected time for three years for a physician to lead a community health project. That means 20% of the physician's time in this full-time position will be dedicated to a community health project, with the remaining 80% focused on clinical care. This is a unique opportunity for physicians who want to make an impact beyond the clinic walls while addressing a health need in the community.

A community health project is a project that:

• Serves the community where the rural hospital or clinic is located or a community within its service area
• Seeks to improve health or address a specific health condition or broader determinant of health, such as healthy lifestyles, disease prevention and control or environmental factors that negatively impact health
• Does not involve political campaign activity, lobbying or partisan advocacy
