Examples of work include organizational design, operating model optimization, expense reduction, and regulatory remediation.About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Strategy and Planning Consultantto join the Strategic Programs team within the Strategic Programs and Enterprise Change Management organization.In this role, you will: Lead high-priority programs by working in project teams spanning businesses and support functions.Assist in standing up programs (e.g., define problem, structure an approach) and creating a successful path to delivery (e.g., define workstreams, milestones, and timing).Work alongside senior leaders as a strategic partner which will require navigating a highly matrixed environment. Create executive-level communications for presentation to key stakeholders on progress, findings, and recommendations via succinct presentations and storytelling.Guide a team through ambiguous and complex situations, while serving as a coach/advisor to team members as part of their growth and development.Lead complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planningProvide principal level strategic consulting services to client organizationsRepresent Wells Fargo on Industry boards and committeesReview and analyze complex larger-scale or longer-term challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factorsIdentify strategic business investments and alliance opportunitiesMake decisions in complex situations that influence and lead the broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesProvide guidance to less experienced staffEvaluate and approve process of identified opportunitiesCollaborate strategically and consult with all levels to resolve issues and achieve goalsPartner with executive management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy and create then execute corresponding business plans and initiativeCommunicative strategy and related business plans to managementRequired Qualifications, US: 5+ years of strategy or related experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications: Experience in a consulting firm or internal strategy team, managing initiatives in a complex environment.Ability to drive problem solving for complex questions (e.g., develop hypothesis, structure problem, drive analyses, and design solutions)Ability to build executive-level communications based on progress and findings.Ability to partner with business leaders to achieve key goals through flexibility, collaboration, influence, and adaptability.Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills), with a strong focus on storytelling through PowerPoint.Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment.Job Expectations:Position location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. No other locations will be considered.Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
