Quality Inspector/Technician

Quality InspectorWe are looking to fill a Quality Inspector at a global contract manufacturer for medical devices in Kentwood, MI. They have a great healthcare plan and a company culture that is built around their people.Quality Inspector Responsibilities:Perform product / material testing and inspectionsContribute support for CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) activitiesIdentify areas of improvement and participate in continuous improvement projectsPerform testing, gather and record data, analyze results and report product and in-process monitoring test resultsAssist during audit activities. Assist with calibration and maintenance activities.Create and maintain data files and formsInitiate and assist in the investigation and disposition of nonconforming materialsReview device history records (DHR) and acceptance records to ensure all quality assurance activities have been performed and approvedUpdate databases and spreadsheets used to track, monitor, and report department activities. Communicate with a wide variety of personnel in and across Manufacturing and Quality TeamsSchedule & Pay:1st Shift 6:00am-4:00pm Monday- Friday$18.00-$20.00/HR commensurate with experienceQuality Inspector Qualifications:Must be self-directed and have the ability to read and follow detailed work instructionsQuality inspection, fine motor skills, excellent measuring to ensure within tight tolerance requirements, ability to see detail using a microscopeAbility to read blueprintsExperience with quality tools including but not limited to calipers and micrometersQuick learning, organized and has attention to detailBasic Microsoft Office experience is necessaryHigh School Diploma or GED and be able to pass a national background checkA minimum of one year of work experience is requiredAbility to lift, push, pull 20 pounds Express Employment Professionals Defunct
