Clinical Therapist

The Clinical Therapist will provide brief behavioral health interventions, crisis response, and referrals for persons living with HCV, HIV and/or mental health or substance use disorders. The Clinical Therapist will have responsibilities ranging from direct services, wellness support to team members, referral development, and crisis response.
The Clinical Therapist will also have the following responsibilities: *Accepts referrals from team members for individuals living with HCV and other health conditions and/or disorders * Provides biopsychosocial assessments and care planning *Ensures natural supports and referral sources are integrated into care planning * Utilizes brief intervention to bridge support and linkage to long-term mental health and substance use services *Supports the outreach team with in-person field crisis response and triage. * Supports patient navigators with linkage barriers and coordination. *Provides wellness strategies to team members and promotes wellness among the team * Utilizes evidence-based risk assessments when responding to a crisis *Adheres to organizations documentation requirements * Other duties as assigned Required Experience and Education: *Have a Masters degree in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. * Have a current license in the District of Columbia and Maryland (independent license in both jurisdictions), which must be renewed regularly by obtaining the required continuing education units. *At least two (2) years of clinical work experience in community health or non-profit settings. Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder prevention, treatment and care services via telemedicine is preferred.* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Application Question(s):* Are you willing to provide clinical services in non-traditional settings (i.e. mobile unit, street, community)?
