Position Title & Schedule: Office Custodian, Part-Time, Monday through Friday, 8 AM -Noon

Location: 199 Main St #300, White Plains, NY 10601

Reports to : Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary: The Office Custodian works together with the Maintenance team to perform a variety of daily custodial and general maintenance duties for our Westchester office. This includes cleaning duties, trash and snow removal, inventory/supply control, supply management and other general maintenance tasks as needed. All work is completed during the morning shift so the office is clean and ready before staff arrive.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily cleaning of the Westchester office including dusting, trash removal, mopping and sweeping while following provided schedule and guidelines
• Complete all cleaning and preparation before business hours so the office is ready for staff arrival
• Maintain all office equipment, participate in deep cleaning projects
• Prepare new hire desks and clean out desks of all exit employees for all replacements/new hires coming in
• Prepare rooms for all meetings and presentations by ordering food for meetings, ensuring technology is working properly before the meetings begin, moving desks and chairs and other arrangements as needed
• Keep office spaces in clean and orderly condition
• Perform cleaning duties in areas such as floors, bathrooms, desk areas, windows, kitchen areas, garbage rooms
• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Perform trash and snow removal, including walkways and entry areas
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Unpack and organize all office supplies and equipment, and monitor supply levels for reorder
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment following the DOH regulations and guidelines
• Report to Maintenance Supervisor on any needs for the office

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in cleaning is required
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools a plus
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Eye for detail; Professional presentation and attitude
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually with minimal supervision
• Strong time management skills
• Reliable transportation for an early morning start
