About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to lead and oversee its fundraising, advancement, and community engagement strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving philanthropic growth, strengthening long-term donor relationships, and serving as a key ambassador for the organization. This executive leadership role requires a proven track record in fundraising, donor development, and strategic relationship management, as well as a passion for community impact and organizational growth. The Vice President will be tasked with leading the execution of the annual strategic and operational advancement plan, establishing fundraising goals, and ensuring the success and sustainability of the organization's mission-driven work. Applicants for the Vice President of Advancement position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years' of progressive fundraising or advancement experience. The role demands exceptional relationship-building and donor stewardship skills, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to professionalism and mission-driven leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in major gift solicitation, capital campaigns, and managing staff, as well as a CFRE accreditation. They must be adept at strategic planning, project management, and have the ability to engage with a wide range of constituents, including high-net-worth individuals and community stakeholders. The Vice President will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and for the financial stewardship of advancement budgets.
