Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Pediatric Cardiac Sonography experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Two years of vascular sonographer experience preferred.
- One year of fetal echo sonographer experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials:
- Completion of a one-year certified cardiac ultrasound course preferred.
- Completion of a certified vascular sonographer course preferred.
- Completion of a certified pediatric sonography course preferred.
- Completion of a certified fetal echo sonography course preferred.

Unit Details:
- Performs M-Mode with calculations, 2-D procedures with all necessary views and calculations, and Doppler echo with analysis.
- Performs peripheral vascular procedures including arterial Doppler, venous Doppler, segmental pressures, ankle-arm index, and carotid ultrasound.
- Performs tilt table exams, treadmills, 24 hour holters, and pharmacological studies.
- Cares for adult, pediatric, and neonate patients.
- May precept and mentor staff as needed.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Day shift 700 to 1930, with call.

Floating Requirements:
- You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RVS
