Lunch Assitant

New Castle Community School Corporation – Eastwood Elementary School, New Castle, Indiana Lunch Assistant Eastwood Elementary is seeking a caring and dependable Lunch Assistant to help supervise and support students during daily lunch periods. This position works approximately 2 hours per day and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a school environment. Responsibilities Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods Assist students with opening food containers, milk cartons, and other lunch-related needs Encourage positive behavior and respectful interactions Help maintain a safe, orderly, and clean cafeteria environment Communicate any student concerns to school staff Qualifications Enjoy working with elementary-age students Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor Dependable, punctual, and able to follow school procedures Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on students while working a short daytime schedule.
