Radiologic Technologist I - Full Time - Chestnut Hill Hospital

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Radiographers demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. Radiographers prepare, administer, and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy. Radiographers remain sensitive to the physical, cultural, and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Non-degree program graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program.

Experience: General experience relevant experience required.

Licenses: Reg Technologist (R) required. Basic Life Support required.
