Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist
Our organization in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging services for patients visiting our urgent care facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that we provide timely and accurate imaging to support clinical decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate X-ray machinery effectively and safely.
- Position patients appropriately for optimal imaging results.
- Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
- Ensure precise imaging to facilitate quick clinical assessments.
- Verify imaging orders and maintain accurate records.
- Manage the transfer of images through PACS systems.
- Follow strict infection control protocols.
- Assist clinical staff with basic patient care duties as needed.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Dependability and a compassionate approach to patient care.
