You will play a crucial role in engineering a modernization effort to converge our customer's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 15+ years of related experience
• Technical skills to deploy applications, install and configure complex software, manage network servers and technology tools, monitor and maintain the system for required levels of performance and troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly US citizenship required

Candidates must have experience with:

• Linux
• AWS, MASH, and VMs
• Docker Swarm
• Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
• Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Ansible scripting and development
• Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
• Git

Desired experience includes:

• Python scripting and development
• NiFi maintenance and configuration
• Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration
• Java / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)
• HAProxy
• MongoDB

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.

The likely salary range for this position is $164,382 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
