Work Environment

You will be working in a lively outpatient office located in the heart of Rome, New York. The environment is structured to enhance patient engagement and clinical collaboration, featuring state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts available from either 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM. You'll be part of a close-knit team that values patient-centered care above all.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical assessments to evaluate patients' conditions and design individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans, setting clear expectations for outcomes and engaging them in self-management strategies.
• Deliver clinical teaching and mentorship to physical therapy interns/students, ensuring high standards of learning and practice.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinic operations by providing feedback on the clinical needs of the team and participating in organizational research initiatives.
• Regularly update patient records and treatment documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse clientele primarily focused on orthopedic rehabilitation. Our patients include individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a therapist, you will play an essential role in assisting these patients on their road to recovery, ensuring they have the appropriate tools and education to succeed.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current valid physical therapy license to practice in New York State.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred, as it demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and expertise.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous, aiding in efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position includes a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, complemented by a full suite of benefits.
