Property Inspector

Description Job Overview We are looking for a fast paced, detail-oriented property inspector to inspect vacation rental properties. In this role, you will evaluate properties for compliance with company standards. You will check commonly used items like tv controllers, drawers, door handles, and faucets to ensure they are functioning properly. You will also check to ensure the property has all items promised to guests by our company. You may be required to perform minor maintenance service in the event that you determine attention is needed during your inspection. You will communicate large maintenance repairs, and other important findings, to the respective departments upon completion of your inspection. Requirements Job Responsibilities
- Commuting to and from properties in your respective territory.
- Performing inspections for cleaning and maintenance issues.
- Performing minor maintenance services.
- Reporting large maintenance issues to respective departments.
- Preparing properties for guest and owner arrivals.
- Managing property inventory and staging.
- Communicating effectively with internal departments, guests, owners, and vendors as needed.
- Delivering needed items to guests.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of minor maintenance and repair tasks is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and squat to effectively inspect properties.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity and coordination to handle tools and equipment for minor maintenance repairs.
- Ability to navigate stairs, ladders, uneven terrain, and various property layouts.
- Visual acuity to evaluate maintenance issues, cleanliness standards, and inventory levels.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to varying temperatures and working conditions.
- This is a full-time position. Working days are Sunday through Saturday with scheduled shifts based on business needs.
