Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive credit risk policies that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and growth strategy. Regularly review and update credit policies to reflect evolving market conditions, company expansion, and regulatory changes. Provide guidance to teams on policy interpretation, ensuring consistent application across geographies and business lines. Oversee credit risk infrastructure, supporting enterprise risk management initiatives and auditing programs. Design and deliver training programs for underwriting teams to maintain risk alignment, consistency, and professional development. Conduct periodic quality assessments and audits of underwriting decisions to ensure adherence to policy and standards. Serve as a senior credit committee member, evaluating high‑value commercial credit applications and guiding executive‑level credit decisions. Lead portfolio and program assessments, preparing actionable insights and reports for executive management. Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Collections, Product, and Data teams to implement scalable credit strategies. Monitor discretionary credit authority across underwriting teams and recommend adjustments to optimize risk management.
