Reports To: Quality Manager
Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10AM-8PM

- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined and assembled components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and inspection plans.
- Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, ring and plug gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Identify, document, and contain nonconforming product.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Communicate quality requirements and inspection findings with production personnel.
- Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure tools remain clean and in proper working order.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic computer skills (email, documentation, accessing work instructions).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent visual inspection skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with production teams.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Experience inspecting precision machined components.
- Knowledge of first article or in-process inspections.
- Experience working in a CNC machining environment.
- Passion for continuous improvement and problem solving.
