Network Developer

Salary: $102,300 - 209,500 per year Requirements:

• We lead network lifecycle management efforts by defining technical goals, delivery plans, and implementation methods for large-scale infrastructure programs.
• We translate high-level network architectures into detailed designs and deployment plans, ensuring scalability, resilience, and operational readiness.
• We act as the technical lead for moderately complex network projects, coordinating multiple engineers across design, deployment, automation, and operational support.
• We design, implement, and support network solutions across data center, backbone, cloud, and service provider environments.
• We partner with service owners and infrastructure teams to integrate network solutions with monitoring, observability, automation, and support systems.
• We serve as a Tier 2 and specialist escalation point for network incidents, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and long-term reliability gains.
• We lead investigations and resolutions for complex network issues and major service-impacting events.
• We develop automation solutions, tools, and scripts that improve operational efficiency, network reliability, deployment consistency, and incident response.
• We contribute to network automation frameworks and operational tooling.
• We work closely with product teams, program managers, network leadership, and PMO groups to align infrastructure capabilities with product and service needs.
• We collaborate with vendor engineering teams and account managers to troubleshoot issues, assess new technologies, and improve operations.
• We take part in hardware evaluations, RFQ/RFP processes, and the adoption of new networking technologies and platforms.
• We make technology decisions that support business, product, and service objectives.
• We mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, troubleshooting support, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• We contribute to engineering best practices, documentation standards, operational excellence, and continuous improvement efforts.
