Affiliate Marketing Manager

Role Description The Affiliate Marketing Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing affiliate marketing programs that drive traffic, leads, and revenue for client brands. Day-to-day activities include identifying and recruiting new affiliates, managing relationships with existing partners, and monitoring affiliate performance across channels. The role involves setting commission structures, developing promotional campaigns and materials, and ensuring compliance with program policies and brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have direct, hands-on experience with Awin (including legacy ShareASale programs).

Primary Responsibilities

• Awin Affiliate Program Management. Independently manage and grow client programs within Awin, including publisher discovery, recruitment, applications, approvals, commission management, tracking, reporting, and partner activation. Experience with legacy ShareASale programs and their transition into Awin is valuable.
• Assist the PR Manager with ongoing PR programs.
• Proactively identify, research, pitch, and recruit publishers and companies into client Awin and Impact affiliate programs. Develop personalized outreach campaigns that communicate partnership value, commission opportunities, and client offerings.
• As the primary point of contact for Affiliate clients, develop and maintain strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of affiliate programs, ensuring the successful execution of strategies and campaigns to meet client objectives.
• Establish and grow relationships across a wide set of affiliates, including maintaining regular communication, strategizing new optimization opportunities, and negotiating payouts.
• Employ data and analytics strategically to provide insights, identify trends, and make recommendations that drive client success and exceed goals.
• Plan and execute affiliate PR campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, holiday gift guides, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and lead generation initiatives.
• Oversee all account deliverables, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, maximizing client investment and managed revenue.
• Maintain full ownership of campaign management, demonstrating solid organizational skills and the ability to focus on and prioritize tasks based on client objectives.
• Analyze client data to inform optimization, activation, and recruitment campaigns, leveraging insights to improve account performance.
• Innovate and stay informed of industry trends, especially regarding new partner discovery and recruitment tactics, to enhance value for clients and stay ahead in the field.

Qualifications

• 2+ year’s experience in affiliate marketing strategy and end-to-end campaign management.
• 1+ year's direct hands-on experience with Awin.
• 1+ year's digital marketing agency experience.
• Candidates should possess strong Affiliate Management and Affiliate Marketing skills, including experience managing and growing affiliate programs.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for building relationships with affiliates and collaborating with internal teams.
• Candidates should possess solid Marketing skills, with familiarity in digital channels such as SEO, paid media, email, and content marketing.
• ·Ability to manage multiple client programs while meeting deadlines and performance objectives.
• Ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple campaigns and partners simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

What Success Looks Like

• Consistently recruit and activate high-quality publishers within client Awin programs.
• Develop meaningful relationships with commerce editors, journalists, and affiliate publishers.
• Generate editorial coverage opportunities, product placements, shopping guide inclusions, and media partnerships.
• Produce high-quality editorial articles, media pitches, and PR materials efficiently and accurately.
• Increase affiliate-driven e-commerce revenue and qualified lead volume.
• Improve publisher participation, engagement, conversion rates, and affiliate program profitability.
• Build a consistent pipeline of new affiliate partners and media opportunities.
• Successfully integrate affiliate marketing and public relations to deliver measurable client results.

This is currently a part-time position that could develop into a full-time role.
