About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified SICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21287!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Trained and worked in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit receiving patients directly from the Operating Room. Current experience with recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting. Experience with Ventilation, CRRT, Swan ganz catheters, epicardial wires/pacemakers, and vasoactive medications titration. Familiarity with Level 1 Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and ECMO. License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS required. ACLS preferred. Critical Care Certification preferred. Trauma course preferred. EPIC experience preferred. Must-Have: Experience in a dedicated Open-Heart ICU. Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment. Description: The Cardiovascular Surgical ICU provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery. This includes patients recovering from cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, and the placement of ventricular assist devices. The unit is equipped to handle complex procedures. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2. About Cynet Health
