Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Batesville, Arkansas
Shift: Days (Tuesday–Friday) | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed Weekly
Call Requirement: 3–4 call shifts per month, including one 24-hour weekend call shift

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at a well-established acute care hospital in Batesville, Arkansas. This opportunity is ideal for OR nurses who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and have strong circulating experience across a variety of surgical specialties.

As an OR RN, you will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process.
• Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Accurately document patient care using MediTech EMR.
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the surgical experience.

Required Qualifications

• Active Arkansas RN License or Compact RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• Must be proficient in circulating the following specialties:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Gynecology (GYN)
  • ENT
  • Urology
  • Vascular Surgery
• Experience caring for all patient populations.
• Recent MediTech experience required.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current AHA ACLS Certification.
• Current AHA PALS Certification.
