Naturescape is seeking to hire a Supervising Field Lead in Cedar Rapids, IA to oversee field production and daily operations at our satellite facility.

PAY & COMPENSATION:

• $49,920 - $62,900+/year based on:
• Starting Wage: $49,920+/year
• Salaried Overtime for 0-10+ hrs/week: up to $6,240+/year
• 401K with unheard-of - 200% company match up to 6% - vested immediately: up to $6,740+/year

• Other bonuses based on performance

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUPERVISING FIELD LEAD

Lead a team. Work outdoors. Make an impact.

As a Naturescape Field Lead, you'll play a key leadership role at our Cedar Rapids satellite location while staying hands-on in the field. You'll report directly to an off-site Branch Manager and enjoy a balance of team leadership, Facility & Equipment Oversight, Customer Engagement, and active lawn and landscape production.

Field Production

Hands-on execution is the heart of this position. You spend 75% of your time outdoors completing routes, applying lawn treatments, and setting the standard for quality. It offers independent work outdoors while earning immediate respect from your team because you are serving our customers right alongside them.

Field Sales & Customer Engagement

While out in the field, you'll have many opportunities to enhance our customers' experience of our service while also engaging with neighbors to drive more sales. You serve as the face of the local branch, answering property owners' questions and resolving service issues directly on site. Because you are on lawns every day, you can easily spot lawn needs and sell helpful add-on services like aeration or mosquito control -turning everyday customer interactions into immediate growth.

Team Leadership & Personnel Control

You hold direct authority to build and manage your local team, backed by the full support and partnership of your Branch Manager. As a key member of the broader leadership team, you handle local interviewing, hiring, and performance management-including corrective actions and terminations. Through hands-on field inspections and daily coaching, you turn specialists into top performers while keeping your site aligned with company-wide standards.

Facility & Equipment Oversight

You oversee the daily operations of the satellite facility, keeping equipment prepared, supplies stocked, and equipment running smoothly so your team hits the ground running every morning. You enjoy ensuring that the facility and equipment reflect your standards, pride, and care.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys working outdoors and is ready to take ownership and lead a team. Strong time-management and organizational skills will help you be successful. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required, as is the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Management or supervisory experience is a plus, but leadership potential and motivation to learn, grow, and lead matter most.

NO LAWN CARE EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM!

You don't need previous lawn care or landscape experience to succeed here! We provide comprehensive paid training to teach you our practices and procedures. We'll also arrange the state certification required to dispense pesticides.
