Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - At least 2 years of RN experience preferred. - Preceptor and charge experience is a plus.

Special Requests: - No block schedule requests; 48-hour contracts can be considered but are not guaranteed.

Unit Details: - Uses Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicell drug dispensing cabinets, and Zoll defibrillators. - Adult/geriatric patient population. - Total joint patients; surgical patients; ACS; patients with acute-on-chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD; alcohol withdrawal; SIRS; GIB.

Shift & Scheduling: - 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period. - Call requirements: none; scheduled shifts may be flexed to an on-call shift up to twice during the contract.

Floating Requirements: - Floating to other units (IMC, ED) in the hospital is an expectation.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
