Located inside the Coronado Ferry Landing in Coronado, we are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and serious Manager to help us deliver a top‑notch dining experience to our valued customers. Le Parfait is looking for a French Bakery and Pastry shop Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Some of other responsibilities include scheduling shifts for staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and doing the weekly inventory. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee/café shops or restaurants. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our café into a favorite local spot. Benefits Between $65,000- +$70,000/year $21/hrs + tips (about $26-$29/hrs) Monthly incentive pay based on grading 1 week paid vacation after 6 months worked Progressive compensation based on performance evaluation Paid training to prepare you for success Health insurance benefits after 3 months worked (50% of insurance paid from company) Cal Saving retirement plan Key Responsibilities Warmly welcome and bid farewell to customers Enhance sales by recommending our delectable French cuisines and sweets offerings Manage day‑to‑day operations of the café with a total of 10 employees (mix of part time and full time) Onboard new wait staff and baristas Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment, customer service and sales Understand the labor cost/percentage and schedule accordingly Do the weekly inventory (like packaging, wines, cleaning supplies…) Ensure all shop areas are clean and tidy Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation Qualifications Proficiency in basic math Work experience as a Café/coffee shop manager Keen eye for detail Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team Friendly and outgoing personality Be reliable, honest and punctual Have hospitality or food service experience High school diploma Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality, Food manager license) is a plus If you are a motivated and self‑driven individual who is enthusiastic about French cuisine/dessert and providing outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you!
