Unarmed Security Officer

Description - 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area - Possess a clear drivers license and pass criminal history check - Must be over the age of 21. - Work under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. - Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas - Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures - Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly - Protect the company's assets relative to theft, fire and other safety issues - Complete activities/reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities electronically - Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing designated areas - Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy - Provide excellent customer service - Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement/fire department/ambulance service as needed - Monitor alarms and security cameras - Adhere to all company service and operating standards
