RN - ICU

ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse working day shifts. The role requires expertise in critical care nursing and proficiency with EPIC software.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to treatments.
• Administer medications and perform advanced nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately using EPIC software.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: One year of recent acute care RN experience in an operating room is required.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor, required within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Stepdown and/or Emergency Room (ER) settings is preferred.

Work schedule:

The position offers a 36-hour workweek on day shifts from 0700 to 1930.
