Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Facility: Lake City Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Location: Lake City, Florida
Shift: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Individualized Care & Treatment Support: Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and the interdisciplinary team to implement personalized treatment plans designed around each resident’s goals and needs.

• Restoring Independence: Help residents improve their ability to perform daily activities, regain functional skills, and achieve greater independence and quality of life.

• Hands-On Therapeutic Care: Provide skilled assistance during therapy sessions to support recovery from illness, injury, or other health challenges.

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring resident information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional care and achieve positive resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active and current Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license required

• Passion for helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals

• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required
