Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work closely with a student, providing essential 1:1 care and support throughout the school day—plus riding the school bus to ensure continuity of care.

This full-time position is ideal for an LPN who enjoys working in educational settings and is passionate about making a difference. The role requires a commitment of 8 hours per day, allowing you to develop a strong rapport with both the student and school staff.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Experience working in pediatric or school settings highly preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care to children
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Comfortable riding the school bus and ensuring safety during transportation
• Capable of handling medical records and following care plans
• CPR and First Aid certified

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care and support for a student throughout the school day
• Monitor the student’s health status and administer necessary medications or treatments
• Accompany and supervise the student on the school bus to and from school
• Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or healthcare needs
• Communicate regularly with school personnel and parents regarding the student's condition and care
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
