The work involves supervising staff, organizing schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. As a Custodial Work Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Staff Supervision: Lead custodial and laundry employees in cleaning, sanitation, and linen tasks Work Scheduling: Develop and post schedules, assign duties, and maintain employee time records Quality Inspection: Conduct regular checks of work areas and recommend adjustments to improve results Safety Guidance: Train staff on proper equipment use, chemical handling, and safe work practices Supply Management: Maintain records and order supplies and equipment needed for custodial services Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day; 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 1st shift (6:30 AM to 2:30 PM), Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of experience performing custodial work. Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
