Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon
Location: Akron, Ohio
Our organization is on the lookout for a MIGS Specialist to become part of our employed physician team. We are currently evaluating candidates with a surgical background who also possess an interest in pelvic medicine. The scope of our practice encompasses various aspects of pelvic health, including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar conditions, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Please note that this role does not involve obstetrics.
The chosen candidate will join our multi-specialty medical group, which consists of nearly 700 healthcare providers employed by our system. Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, we are recognized as one of the largest integrated healthcare delivery systems in the state, featuring two hospitals and over 20 health centers that ensure access to care across the region.

3 days in the office with plans to increase to 2 days in the operating room.
Flexible scheduling options available, accommodating between 0.80 FTE to 1.0 FTE.

Additional surgical locations available in Medina, Wadsworth, and Barberton.
Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University, based on experience.

Utilization of the Epic EMR system.
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
Possession of an unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one.
Active participation in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
A commitment to evidence-based, standardized care within a patient-centered, team-oriented environment.
