About the role

At Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, the Pool Server brings the Rooftop & Pool experience to life by delivering thoughtful, engaging service and detailed knowledge of all food and beverage offerings. This role ensures guests enjoy a seamless, elevated poolside dining experience in a relaxed yet luxurious environment.

What you will do

• Provide detailed, engaging descriptions of all food and beverage items, including ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods.
• Enter guest orders into the point-of-sale system accurately, communicating special requests to the culinary team and ensuring proper timing and delivery.
• Compare completed kitchen orders with the original guest order and deliver items promptly to maintain food quality and presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer recommendations, and respond swiftly and professionally to concerns or requests.
• Properly close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and ensure accurate handling of voids and complimentary items.
• Regularly walk the pool areas to offer amenities, refreshments, and support guest comfort.
• Collaborate harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors and uphold all Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
• Assist with guest greeting and seating during peak business periods.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of food service or related hospitality experience.
• Ability to carry and balance trays safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency in processing payments and using point-of-sale systems.
• Reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in English.
• A warm, service-oriented approach aligned with Four Seasons standards.

Schedule & Hours

• Full-time position
• Eight-hour shifts; schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs
