Job Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
  • Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
  • Collaborate intensely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
  • Support intraoperative procedures, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments
  • Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education initiatives
Education Needed
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Completion of clinical rotations specifically emphasizing surgical care is highly preferred
Certifications Required
  • Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
