Operate imaging equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic services, ensuring quality images that conform to department standards. Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and seek advice on suspicious abnormalities. Maintain radiation safety practices following ALARA standards and state regulations. Manage supplies by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stocks using LIFO method. Initiate emergency life support measures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of protocols such as "Code Blue" and "Nurse Call." Operate specialized equipment like C-arm for pain procedures, ensuring proper positioning and image quality. Provide age-appropriate patient care, adhering to departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills Completion of a two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program with an Associate Degree or Certificate. Valid Radiology Technology license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; in good standing with ASRT and ARRT. Proficiency with software applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Current CPR certification.
